On Becoming Who You Are

We are all “better than we know…” It’s why we need other people in our lives to shine a light on our own souls to reveal the treasures within.

Understand you can’t see what you don’t know and so the fact that you can see goodness and worthiness in someone else means that you are good and worthy too!

I believe that we are all on our hero’s journey. Like Joseph Campbell says…

“You enter the forest

at the darkest point,
where there is no path.

Where there is a way or path,
it is someone else’s path.

You are not on your own path.

If you follow someone else’s way,
you are not going to realize
your potential.”

Your path is unique to you and designed for you to grow along it and figure out the way.

So much time and energy is wasted contemplating the path of others and condemning our own: too hard, too frustrating, too circuitous, too calamitous…

Breathe.
