I have fantasized about changing people, changing the world. I am driven to share the knowledge I have to help others to see REAL transformation in their lives. And so I figured I could help the most people by allowing them to experience what it would be like working with me – without having to pay anything initially.
People love the idea of a free deal. So I have had people sign up for the free consultations. But they don’t show up. Occasionally one person does but generally…no shows.
While I love to help I realize that unless someone has “skin in the game” – then they treat the offer as not important enough so that if something else comes up – it’s OK to cancel – usually without letting me know.
I am not upset. I am not feeling sorry for myself. I am merely facing reality and wanted to stop fooling myself about what was going on.
You have to be the scientist AND the subject in your life. You have to look at RESULTS and if they are not what you want you need to CHANGE your approach. You need to turn a BAD day into GOOD data. It’s always about learning.
It’s taken me a couple of years to get to this place. I DEFINITELY need to change my approach. Not sure yet what I’m going to do but I know I won’t be offering any more FREE consultations. It just doesn’t work! I will however keep offering my free e-guides. [See below]
For now it’s back to the strategy drawing board.
