Story is a powerful catalyst for change, if we can get better at telling stories that move people we can create the businesses and communities we wish to see.
Many speakers teach audiences about tools and tactics. Giselle goes deeper, inspiring attendees to stop competing and instead succeed by being more of who they are.
Giselle feels it’s important to plant two possibility seeds when speaking to communities and organizations who truly want to thrive and transcend the Age of Standardization while making their way into the more relevant Age of Personalization:
- HOW CAN YOU HARNESS and LEVERAGE INDIVIDUALITY IN YOUR ORGANIZATION/COMMUNITY TO GET THE BEST OUT OF EVERYONE NO MATTER WHO THEY ARE or WHERE THEY ARE STARTING FROM.
- WHY YOUR BEST THINKING 5 YEARS AGO IS YOUR BAGGAGE TODAY
Stories are indelible. They shape who we are but more importantly, they help us see the patterns that are uniquely our own.
Forward home was one of the first songs I played on the cuatro and it was one of the stories I remembered that allowed me, through using the MCORE process, to discover more about myself.
Not only was it my first song, but I figured out the chords all by myself and so copped first prize in the class competition held by Ms. Kathleen Yip Choy.
